San Juanico Bridge

The pics may not mean much (especially to my collegues who always traverse this path) but it is still one counts in my lifebook.

Broken

I was walking along the road when i noticed this small plant. The tiny trunk snapped from the base where the roots are anchored to the ground. It might have been got stepped on or run over tricycles.

The pitiful thing sure is dying but then I noticed something, it still has leaves budding on its end. We obviously can deny the fact that this plant of some sort is going through tough times. Well, if you would look at the damage it has taken, we can say it is clinging to life by mere centimetes and will probably perish soon. But we can also look at it this way: it is dying but it is also fighting like hell to survive.

And I think it will.

So can we.

Diesel price goes over gasoline's

Im not sure if this is some kind of a mistake but notice the price of diesel. The question is, mistake or not, will this be a sign of what is set to come?

Pious Facade

Believe it or not, I took this pictuire in Beijing. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the name of the church. Just click to zoom and try to read yourself.

Contemplating

Got myself a new book. Actually, I had to get some help securing it.
Didn't expect it to be how it is but, I think I'm gonna like it though.

Majestic Twins

To date the top three tallest skyscrapers are the Sears tower (527m), the Taipei 101 (508m) and the Petronas Twin Towers (452m). These engineering wonders have only caught my attention whenever I see them in Discovery Channel, well, that was before I saw one of them. I’d like you to meet the twins...

had to take a shot several meters away. it's really difficult to get them to fit in my cameraphone's viewfinder.

a little obstructed. have to watch for speeding cars when i took this.

this would have to do.. im starting to look stupid here

See, they dont look so nice from below

And let there be light...

I must tell you, I really am awestruck when I met them. They really are majestic. Wonder how much it costs to light these babies up.
Never gonna forget malaysia ten

Binibining Makahiya

Sinong mag-aakalang namumulaklak pala ang makahiya

Sunday, July 6, 2008
